Updates & Information
The weather finally turned nice and the Rockets responded with a great effort at the Conference Relays. Top four teams were: Whitnall - 109, SM - 88, Shorewood - 71, Cudahy - 62. It was fun to watch the girls compete so well. We scored more points than last year, but still were not able to catch Whitnall.
PR's go to: Karma Johnson - 100 m. High Hurdles, Leah Budde - 100 m. High Hurdles, Elle Foster - 1600 m. Run, Sihana Alimi - 1600 m. Run, Sofia Kruckenberg - Triple Jump, Samiah - Sydnor - Long Jump, Olivia Neubaue - Discus.
The JV Squad participated in the Oak Creek JV Invitational on Thursday evening. These girls keep getting better each meet. The PR's are to numerous to mention here. Please check out the results.
We will be taking a small group of girls that qualified for the Myrhum Invitation at Arrowhead High School on Saturday, May 10. This meet will showcase the best track 7 field athletes in the State. It is great that we have several of our athletes being able to be part of the meet.
The next meet for the Varsity will be at Tosa East on Wednesday, May 14. Then we will be hosting a Middle School Meet on Thursday, May 15 and a Freshmen/JV Co-ed Invitational on Saturday, May 17.
The Track Banquet will be held on Friday, June 13 at the Knights of Columbus in South Milwaukee.
