Updates & Information
The girls continue to show progress in the early part of the outdoor season. We too many PR's at the JV meet on Friday to mention here. Please check out the meet results under the schedule tab.
The Varsity had a very good meet on Saturday. We were not able to enter our usually number of events because of Prom so our team score was not that high. The girls that did compete performed well. Ken'Niya continued her outstanding season by placing first in the 100 m. dash with a new school record and a PR. Maddie Becker finished 2nd in the 100 m. High Hurdles, Samiah Sydnor tied for 4th in the High Jump with a PR, and Lila Wucherer placed 7th in the 300 m. Low Hurdles. Natalya Dachs had a 2 foot PR in the Discus.
We have a home JV Time Trial meet this week on Thursday. The Pole Vault will begin at 3:30, the rest of the field events at 4:00, and the running events at 4:30.
On Friday the Varsity will compete in the Dan Benson Invitational at Wauwatosa West High School. The Field Events will begin at 3:30 and Running Events at 4:00. We will have our whole team there and it will be interesting to see how we stack up against the rest of the schools.
